1939 Wizard of Oz Prop sold for big money

   A prop from the 1939 film, Wizard of Oz, sold at an auction for $495,000. The prop that sold for almost  half a million dollars was the hour glass that the Wicked Witch of the West used to taunt Dorothy as  they try to escape.   Even though, many variations of the hour glass were made, the one that sold for a hefty price was  made out of wood and paper-mache. Fleetwood Mac's Balls Sell for Thousands

   Mick Fleetwood, of the ever popular band Fleetwood Mac, had just auctioned off his iconic pair of  wooden balls that he wore on the cover of their 1977 Fleetwood Mac album "Rumours". The set of  balls were sold for an astounding $128,000. The most expensive ball ever sold was Mark McGwire's  70th homerun ball that sold for $4 million.  In an interview with Rolling Stones, Mick Fleetwood had confessed that the two wooden balls  dangling in between his legs were actually "lavatory chains" that he took from a bathroom stall before  the photoshoot. Mick said this to Maui Time in 2009 about the story of the balls, "I must admit I had a  couple of glasses of English ale... Legendary Icon Sells his Tooth for Thousands

   Legendary icon, John Lennon, had his tooth sold at an auction for $31,200. Lennon gave his tooth to his  housekeeper which was supposed to be a gift for her daughter. The housekeeper kept it for all these years  and then decided to auction it off. It sold for over $30k and was won by a Canadian dentist who said that  he was going to show it off at conventions. Queen's underwear sold for thousands of dollars on eBay

 In 1968, Queen Elizabeth left a pair of underwear on a private plane. 44 years later, a baron's estate, who  was known as some sort of a playboy, auctioned of these pair of bloomers and a buyer who didn't want to  be named won it for $18,000.
