Post Malone just purchased a 1 of 1 trading card of the One Ring from the Lord of the Rings Magic
the Gathering set.
The One Ring Tales of Middle Earth is or should I say was the most sought after card in the since it is
the only card that was made as 1 of 1.
Previous owner Brook Trafton showed off the One Ring card on TikTok while holding it with his
trembling hands. The first person he thought of when he saw the card was Post Malone. In a Tiktok
post he writes:
When I found the One Ring, the first person who came to mind was @Post Malone. I have played MTG since I was a kid and obviously it would be amazing to keep this card. But for a guy like me, being able to sell it is life changing. I just really hoped it would go to someone who would appreciate it as much as I do. This is my dream come true, meeting Post Malone and him buying the One Ring card from me is literally a moment straight out of a fairytale. Post Malone @Magic: The Gathering you have changed my life. Things like this don’t happen to people like me, I guess it’s magic. I am forever grateful 🙏 ✨
The rapper bought the One Ring from Trafton for a $2.6 Million. Before this sale, the most expensive
Magic the Gathering card ever bought was the Black Lotus. It was sold for $500,000.

We can now rest from our quest for the One Ring. The Ruling Ring, Isildur's Bane is good hands.
Post Malone will for sure take very good care of it. Even though it was forged by Sauron to tempt
anyone to be ruled by him in exchange for more power, Post Malone will be the only one to not
succumb to the control of the Dark Lord of Middle Earth.
